Brief

On Wednesday, August 20, UNICEF MENA, UNFPA ASRO and RAF hosted the regional launch of their new study on child marriage in humanitarian settings entitled "Barriers and Facilitators to Programming: Delivering interventions to address child marriage in humanitarian settings in Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen."

The study seeks to break new ground in understanding how to best prevent and respond to child marriage in humanitarian situations in the Middle East, focusing on five countries with varying degrees of humanitarian challenges. It will be available online in English and Arabic following the launch.

The webinar event featured colleagues from the Arab League, UNICEF and UNFPA global, as well as country offices and partners from Lebanon, Yemen, Jordan and Syria.

Learn more by watching the webinar recording. Part II is also available here.

The full study will soon be available on the RAF website in English and Arabic.
